I've had this shrub for at least 2 years and it is now growing. Is there any type of fertilizer I should give it? It is planted on the west side of the house (in front) and gets full sun in the afternoon.

New plants can take a year or two to become rooted and begin to grow their best. This plant does well in full sun all day or for a minimum of six hours, so the location sounds adequate in terms of light. Junipers are not very heavy feeders, so unless your soil is very poor it should not really need much fertilizer. You could top dress with good quality compost and then apply a granular or slow release fertilizer with an analysis of 10-10-10 or similar proportions. Read and follow the label instructions.
