How do I get my Blackberries to produce more fruits?

Blackberries grow best in full sunshine and produce best when they're uncrowded. To encourage lots of new growth (and berries), prune the old canes down to 2-3' in the winter. In spring the old canes will produce new stems which will develop flowers and fruit. Enjoy!
