I have Holly Blue Prince and Holly Blue Girl. Will these work together. And how close do they have to be planted for pollenation?
What diseases are they subject to?

Blue Prince is a perfect pollinizer for Blue Girl. Since flying insects will be transferring pollen, your hollies should be planted within 50' of one another. Hollies are not subject to any particular diseases, especially if the soil is well draining but the leaves are sometimes attacked by leafminers. These are the little larvae of a flying insect. The eggs are laid just beneath the surface of the leaf; when the eggs hatch into larvae, the worms feed on the tissues between the upper and lower leaf surface. Then they exit, pupate in the soil and turn into adults. If you find mined leaves, simply remove and destroy them.
