Hi,

I am looking at purchasing either one of your jasminum polyanthum (preferable) or a trachelospermum jasminoides and wondering if one is more hardy than the other. Would they be alright to grow in Vancouver BC just north of the Washington border on the coast. I keep getting different opinions from the local garden centers and am now confused.
Thanks kindly

Jasminum polyanthum is hardy to 15?F (-9?C); star jasmine is hardy to about 20F. I grow star jasmine in my Seattle area garden and it performs quite well. I think either plant will do just fine in your garden. Enjoy!
