Hello,

I'm having a problem with what tree to use in front of the
entrance way ( i need two trees, on each side), i want
them to be really nice (mainly everegreens). i don't
like the swirly trees that don't look very natural.
(this is a sunny area).
Any help on this matter would be very helpful.
Thanks.

Your zip code places you in zone 6B so you have a pretty wide range of choices. You could use yews trimmed to a formal shape, you could use blue hollies left naturally pyramidal or sheared, you could use a small leafed holly such as SkyPencil. You could use upright junipers or naturally conical junipers. You could use upright arborvitaes. These are just a few ideas. I would suggest you work with your county extension and/or professionally trained nurseryman to make a selection that meets your design goals and will also thrive in the growing conditions where you want to plant these trees. Good luck with your project!
