|My mom has a Snow Flake Bush which is 4 years old. Last summer and this summer it is producing a terrible odor, so badly if not corrected will have to be destroyed. The bush produced lots of flowers this summer and was in perfect condition. Just the odor is horrible. Please help!
|Based on your description I am not sure what is happening here. I have never noticed a bad odor associated with this plant and in a brief search I did not find any references to it having a bad smell. So honestly I do not think it is caused by the plant itself. There must be something else that is going on. Is it possible an animal such as a dog or cat is marking it regularly? Or routinely "using" the area beneath it? Or a dog is burying old bones under it? Or is some animal burrowing underneath it? I think with a little detective work you may be able to figure out what is happening. Good luck with the mystery!|
