I need a deer resistent hedge but am unsure of how the upright junipers grow. I want it to look

I would plant Yew (the branches are rigid so you won't have to worry about gaps in your hedge) or Laurel. Both are evergreen and neither are very interesting to deer. Of the two laurel grows the fastest, but Yew has a more formal appearance. Beech trees are deciduous and privacy screens are more effective if they're evergreen.
