Some annuals for North Florida (including the panhandle)
that do well in full sun are:
Ageratum, Alyssum, Amaranthus, Asters, Baby's Breath, Begonia (Wax), Calendula, Carnation (China Doll), Celosia
This is a few. There are many more. You can get a
complete list by calling your County Extension Office (850)623-3868. Ask for Circular 569 entitled "Annual Flowers for Florida".
