|I am thinking of using this yew on the west side of my very sloping lot (sits high on a hill). That side of the hill gets sun mostly from 12 until sunset. Would this plant do ok there?|
I am sorry for this delayed reply to your gardening question. We are transitioning to a new Q&A system and your question was unfortunately lost in the transition. I have discovered it now and hope this reply is not too late to be of help.
You are within the heat and cold zones of that Japanese yew so I don't see why it would not do well there. Fall is a good time to plant as the heat of summer is past and the plant has lots of time to get established for the next stressful summer period.
Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon!
