We have a peach tree that is growing a few pieces of fruit. (The tree is only a few years old.) How do we protect these fruit until harvest? What are the 'bad guys'- birds or bugs?

Birds, squirrels and raccoons all find ripening fruit irrestistable. I'd drape the tree with bird netting and secure it at the trunk. This will keep all possible marauders from ruining your delicious peaches. Enjoy the fruits of your harvest!
