ARE THERE ANY TROPICAL TYPE PLANTS THAT BE PLANTED OUTDOORS IN THE BALTIMORE MARYLAND AREA?

You can plant practically any tropical plant in your garden, as long as you consider it an annual. Tropical plants generally won't survive temperatures below 40F so unless you keep them in containers and take them indoors during the fall, winter and early spring, you'll need to think of them as annual plants.
