After the Summer flowering, do you cut the entire stalk back or leave the stalks until they die? Also, when can we expect the fall flowering to begin?

When the flowers are spent, cut the flower stalk down to foliage level. Your plant will rest for a few weeks and then send a second flower stalk up. It should be in full bloom by mid-September. Enjoy!
