I recently finished a three pond landscape project and i went to get some aquatic plants i bought a water lily (Nymphaea), a Chameleon Houttuynia (Houttuynia cordata'Chameleon'), two Miniature Cattails(Typha minima), White Pickerelweed(Pontenderia condata 'alba'), and a Lemon Bacopa (Bacopa caroliniana) i was just fuzz on the planting instructions for them all and i wanted to double check to make sure they were all in the right place

The water lilies are potted and the pots are set fully under water, in your area they will need to sit at the bottom of the pond for the winter and can be raised closer to the surface in the summer to help them grow more quickly. Houttuynia is a marginal or bog plant, it likes very wet soil but should not be fully submerged. The same would be true for the typha and pickerelweed and bacopa.
