I planted over 100 seeds of strawberries! I have given them tons of sun and lots of nutrients yet the plants are still tiny and its been about 3 months since I planted them!

And of the 100 seeds only 3 took! Is this normal or am I doing something wrong. A year ago I bought strawberries seeds and none of them took. This is the only plant that will not grow for me for some reason?

Your germination rate isn't very encouraging! Strawberry seeds need light in order to germinate, so if you've been covering the seeds after sowing, this might account for the poor performance. I have good success in sowing the seeds on top of moistened seed starting mix and then covering the pots or trays with plastic wrap to help hold in moisture. The seeds should germinate in 7-10 days when keep in a warm (75F), bright place.

If your little plants are not thriving, they may not be getting quite as much sunlight as they need, and the soil may be too dry for them. Try giving them full sunshine and keeping the potting soil moist but not soggy wet. Best wishes with your strawberries!
