What soil pH do Emerald Spreader Yews like? What are the most common diseases for these plants?

Yews will grow in neutral to slightly acidic soils. They are generally problem free although spider mites may colonize within them. You can discourage these pests by hosing the foliage off a few times during the summer months. Spider mites like dry, dusty places. Hosing off your yews will keep these pests at bay.
