Our nursery planted goldflame honeysuckle 2 years ago. First season we thought it was dead but cam back to life with beautiful flowers. This spring it came back again and has grown tremendously around our arbor. Now the floweres are falling off and the breanches look very dry and almost as if it is dying. This happened last year too. What can we do. We have got plenty of rain and I water it with our sprinkler too! Is this normanl.

Your honeysuckle should have nice green foliage all summer long, it is not normal for the foliage to discolor or dry, no. I would suggest you consult wiht your county extension to obtain a specific diagnosis of what is affecting it. It might be an insect problem or possibly a fungal or bacterial problem. If it is something that can or should be treated they will have the most up to date recommendations on what to use and how/when is best to apply it. Good luck with your honeysuckle vine!
