Unfortunately based on your description I am unable to diagnose the problem for you. There are some soil deficiencies as well as some insect and disease problems that can cause discoloration on fig foliage. I would suggest you work with your county extension to obtain a specific identification of the cause for the spots and then based on knowing that, determine how to proceed. If it is something that can be controlled by spraying they will have the most up to date recommendations on what to use and the best time/way to apply it. I'm sorry I can't be more specific for you.
