|My cottonwood is 2 years old and growing quite well. I just noticed that the leaves (not all) are curling under. I think there is a bug on it. What is it and what can I do to prevent further occurence. I need your help as I do not want to lose this beautiful tree.
Thank you for your assistance.
|There are many causes of leaf curl in poplars; aphid feeding is the most common, followed by mites and fungal diseases. Without seeing the problem, it's difficult to diagnose. How about taking a sample of the problem to your local Cooperative Extension office for positive identification? Once you know what your dealing with, you can use appropriate control measures. Best wishes with your cottonwood tree!|
