|I would like to know why the flowering pear tree we have seems to be producing fruit. We have two in total and only one is doing this. I have pics of the 'fruit' if you would like to see it. Thanks

|Ornamental pear (and cherry) trees sometimes do produce small, inedible fruit. It's not terribly unusual, but it doesn't happen with any regularity. Next year your tree probably won't set fruit. Just one of those interesting little quirks of nature!
