I really like the evergreen pear which I just brought home. I have several locations but I was thinking of getting a companion and placing these along the perimeter of my yard but they will be close proximity to my pool.

Is this a good tree for being by a pool area? The trees will be at least 8-10ft away from the pool.

Ornamental pears have an upright growth habit and produce very little litter so they may great pool companions. Best wishes with your landscape!
