Hi, I just planted a dappled willow shrub over the weekend, and already almost all of the leaves have turned brown. Is this something that typically happens from the shock of planting or not?
Thank you,
Marty Fishman

Hi Marty. I just planted mine and a Few days later noticed the same thing. Did yours come back or die? If it came back, how long did it take?

If you just planted your dappled willow, I'm sure it's transplant shock. The best thing you can do for your shrub is to water it deeply once each week until the roots become established. I suspect it will recover and will probably produce new leaves later this summer. Best wishes with your plant!
