One of our hydrangeas is filled with beautiful snowy white blooms in Jun and July but the blooms begin to turn green (all green-no other color) in August and stay green. They are under very tall trees and there are white pines about 20 feet away; they receive sun about half the day. How can I keep them white?

I think what you are seeing is related to heat and to natural color change as the blooms age. As far as I know there is nothing you could do to keep them white. I'm sorry.
