|Me again, I have a very happy climbing Hydrangea in pretty poor soil. I've had it for 5 years and it bloomed ok the first 2 years, but the last 3, nothing.
It receives morning sun, perhaps an hour or two, but mostly shaded during the day. Could it be getting too much shade to bloom? I never prune it, but do fertilize with acid fertilizer at least twice per year.
Suggestions welcome. Thanks!
|Climbing hydrangeas need at least 6 hours of sunlight in order to bloom so I think your plant needs to be moved to a sunnier spot. Best wishes with your garden!|
