I would like to plant gardenias,hydrangeas, and bradford pear trees in the near future. I would like to know the instructions for planting each type of plant and when the best time to plant them would be.

Karen,

Let me also add that the gardenia and hydrangea should be fertilized with a product for acid loving plants starting a couple of months after planting. The pear needs very little fertilizing unless the tree really lack vigor which is unusual for a Bradford pear.
