Miniature flower,Orange with dark spots like a tiger lily (but more yellowy than orange)like a tiger lilly. Leaves are flat like an iris, but come out of the ground with several branches on them almost palm tree like and on top of the branch is a stem with several flowers on them almost like a daylilly,to me it looks like a cross between and iris, orchid and daylily.(ps they do close up at night)the flower is no more than 2

Hmm.. I'm not sure but I know Crocosmia is in bloom now. These plants are members of the iris family, with sword shaped leaves and small orange, red, or yellow flowers on branched stems. Perhaps this is the identity of the mystery plant.
