I have looked and looked but everyone tells me that this is a weed. I think the Ombrella Mimosa Tree would look and thrive in my font yard and I am unable to find one. Where or how do I ontain this beautiful tree? Any help you can provide would help enormously. Thank you.

Mimosa trees can sometimes be a nuisance if they self seed in nearby planting beds. In some areas they are able to seed about and thrive in wild areas as well. For this reason they are considered invasive in some places. Your local county extension should be able to tell you if this could be a problem in your local area.

Monrovia plants are sold nation wide by independent retailers. Unfortunately I have no way to check which stores might have which plants in stock or be able to order for you, as they each carry their own selection of Monrovia (and other) products. You would need to check directly with the retailers and see if they have this tree in stock on hand. There is a zip code based dealer locator at the web site to help with contact information.

If they do not carry this plant or if it is considered invasive in your area they should be able to suggest a substitute. Good luck with your new tree!
