Douglas,

The proper name of Red Ti or Red Dracaena is Cordyline fruticosa. Cordylines, also known as dracaenas, cabbage palms, and palm lilies are palm like evergreen shrub and come in many different species. Although they look similar to some dracaenas they are not true dracaenas but are similar and closely related.

They do well from partial shade to almost full sun. They can also take indoor light if it is bright, but will not develop their attractive red color as well in low light conditions.
