why are chinese magnolia trees so hard to find and how much do they run in cost?

Chinese Magnolia is one of the common names for Magnolia soulangiana. Other common names are Saucer Magnolia and Japanese Magnolia. Monrovia grows a standard type and also two varieties Alexander and Black Tulip.

Check out the following web site. It has a box for you to enter your zip code and will then give you a list of local retailers that carry Monrovia plants. You will need to speak to a retailer about their price on one of these magnolias.
