| I live in central Florida along the coast and was wondering which if any hydrangea plant you would suggest planting. I have tried planting them in the shade and in the sun. But unfortunately neither one lived.The other question I wanted to ask was if they are salt tolerant? We have a well that has a high salt contant.I was also curious about a hydrangea featured in a magazine,it was called Endless Summer. It promises to bloom all summer long? I love hydrangeas and would love to have some in my yard but no matter how or where I plant them they never seem to do well. | Elizabeth, You are a little far south for most type of Hydrangea. They will not tolerate the salty water and would need to have fresh, quality water for them. You might have some luck with Hydrangea macrophylla if you plant it in a soil with lots of peat or compost added in a bright shade out of direct sun, and keep the soil moist but not soggy.
