Hello: For use in front of my home, I wish to have the formal appearance of a pair of small, tight conical evergreens. I am considering Italian Cypress varieties |
I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I'll have to reaffirm the message you received - Italian cypresses simply won't perform well in your gardening region. The summer heat and humidity just isn't to their liking. You might consider growing privet or boxwoods, which you can prune into tight, conical shapes instead. Wish I had better news for you! |
