|I've got a gravel covered back yard, and would like to turn it in to grass, what would be some of my options for doing this?
|The most difficult part of the transition from gravel to grass will be to rake the gravel up. If you're lucky, there will be weed barrier beneath the gravel which will make removing the gravel a much easier process. If not, rake as much of the gravel up as possible then rototil the area to a depth of 8-10 inches. The small amount of gravel that was left after raking will be incorporated into the soil as you rototill. Then rake the area level, sow your seed, water, and stand back. You should have a nice lush lawn in a matter of 6-8 weeks. Enjoy!
