Shrubs are one year oid. Ground stays to wet. Can I move them late September or early October to redo the soil without harming them ? All I need to do is left them up and redo the soil and put them back in the ground. Thanks Ron

Spring and fall are the absolutely best times to plant or transplant trees and shrubs because the weather is cooler and rainfall abundant; both of which help roots become established. Choose an overcast day or work in the late afternoon and your shrubs should adapt to the change without too much stress.

Best wishes with your landscape!
