Yellowing leaves can be a symptom of many problems including overwatering, iron deficiency, underwatering, fertilizer burn (especially when you apply fertilizer on dry soil), and others. Yellowing, dropping leaves at the end of the growing season may also be normal for your plant, especially if new growth looks healthy. This is the plant's way of renewing itself by making room for new foliage. If you're sure all the cultural conditions are being met, then it's a natural leaf drop. Wait until spring and prune the stems back to encourage new growth in the center of the plant and lower down on the stems. They should perk up in the spring. Best wishes with your garden!
