Looking for an evergreen ground cover that likes shade and not a lot of water and that I can walk on.

Thank you.

Both Pachysandra (Japanese Spurge) and Vinca Minor are great groundcovers for dry, shady areas. They will take foot traffice but both grow tall enough (8 inches plus) to become a tripping hazard if you plant on walking frequently through the area. I have worn narrow paths in my vinca where I walk to water shrubs but I think it looks attractive. I like the vinca because it is carefree and flowers off and on from spring through fall. Another suggestion is ivy. It takes foot traffic, shade and dry soils. Best wishes with your garden!
