Can I order (specify) a multi trunk upward growing plant in a 5-10 gallon size that would be approx. 2 1/2--3 feet planted? Many that I've seen at summerwinds nursery in Phoenix are more bushy/sprawling in nature.

Monrovia trains hibiscus into a single trunked patio tree which is available in either a five or ten gallon pot, but what you're looking for is simply a 3-4 year old multi-trunked shrub. These are typically sold in 10-15 gallon nursery pots. If your local Summerwinds Nursery does not have one in stock, perhaps one of their other garden centers has one (check with the nursery manager). If they cannot locate one for you, might want to visit one of the following local Monrovia retailers:
