I would like to plant palm trees in my front yard. I need the palm to get no taller than 10'. I live about 20 miles from the coast in southern California. These palm trees would have full sun and get the afternoon sun (facing west). What kind of palms can tolerate these conditions. Thank you

Pygmy Date Palm (Phoenix roebelenii) is a small to medium sized palm, growing 7'-10' tall. It will tolerate a light, brief frost and is generally easy to grow.
