|My five year old orange tree grown fron a seed won't blossom. It's a Sunkist. The plant is four feet tall and is trimmed back every spring. It is very green and healthy. Please help! Thank you.

|Seedlings are slow to mature and come into bearing. This is one of the reasons fruit trees are grafted. It is difficult to say just how long it will take for your tree to start bearing. It also needs full sun or close to it in order to have the energy necessary to produce blooms and fruit. I'd refrain from pruning next spring - you may be accidentally pruning off the flower buds. If it still doesn't bloom, it just isn't mature enough yet. Be patient - eventually it will bloom. Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon!
