Will heliotrope grow in my area? I can put it where it get a lot of water but it will always get the Texas heat. I can put it in the shade or sun. I love this plant! Do you know where can I get seeds?

An old favorite of gardeners in England, New England, and the West Coast, sweetscented heliotrope doesn't do as well in the South. It doesn't like our hot, humid summers, so it's best to treat it as an annual. Give it moist, well-drained soil and good air circulation. Morning sun is okay, but shade during the hot afternoon is a must. You can purchase seeds online from a variety of sources. One online source is Swallowtail Garden Seeds.
