I have Silver Lace Vine along my split rail fence-I live in a small town & people are always telling me how pretty it is. Some would like a start off of it-is this possible? Tell me how I would go about doing this-please!

This plant can be propagated by seed (it may seed itself about) or by tip cuttings during the summer or by division in the spring. Of these, tip cuttings (or even layering) would probably be the easiest. Here are instructions for how to do these methods; some refer mainly to shrubs but the methods work just as well for vines, too.

You may need to cut and paste the url into your browser to make it work correctly.

You might also consider layering.
