Dicentra (bleeding heart) plants generally go into dormancy in early summer so you'll just be transplanting the roots of the plants. For easier digging, water the area well a few hours before the planned move. Then carefully dig the roots, divide them if necessary, and replant at the same soil depth as they were growing before. Next spring they should send up new stems, foliage and flowers.
