|I have an orange tree and a lemon tree, both of which blossom but do not fruit. Please offer some suggestions as to how I can help my babies have some babies!
|The blossoms of citrus trees are quite fragrant, so I hope you're at least enjoying that! You can help your trees set fruit if you'll transfer pollen from blossom to blossom. Just use a cotton swab or an artist's camelhair paintbrush, and dabthe inside of each flower. Usually we count on insects to do the work for the trees, but indoors we sometimes have to help the process along a little bit.
Also, dramatic temperature swings and drafts can interfere with fruit set.
Hope you get lots of fruit from your trees!
