What grasses are good for a very heavily used lawn, one that is self healing by sending shoots into the torn area? We have two large dogs that really take a toll.

Tall fescues, creeping fescues, Kentucky Bluegrass, perennial ryegrass or Buffalo Grass are all recommended by the University of Idaho.
