I have just purchased 10 of the above. Your tag says the average size is 25-40' high and 8-10' wide. I have researched this tree on the internet and it appears that it can grow much, much larger. Please can you confirm the ultimate height and width these trees are likely to reach. I need to know so that I may take the necessary steps in controlling their growth at an early stage.

In the Pacific Northwest, where summers are short and cool, your Golden Leyland Cypress will be smaller than a similar tree growing in sunny central California. The listed size is an average - you can expect yours to remain about 30' tall and 8-10 feet wide. Leyland cypress takes well to pruning and is often planted in groups and routinely sheared as windbreaks or privacy screens. Hope this information is helpful!
