These are very low maintenance roses. In late fall when they have gone dormant but before the ground freezes hard, apply a generous layer of organic mulch over the root area. In the spring, trim them back as needed to remove any winter damaged canes. If there is little damage, go ahead and trim them back by half to two thirds of their height and to make them somewhat symmetrical. This will stimulate vigorous new growth during the coming season. Enjoy!
