Wondering what is the best mehod for winterizing alberta spruces? |
This is a very cold tolerant tree, it is native to very cold climates. You would mulch over the root area in late fall once the ground has turned cold or frozen. If it is a new tree, you might provide a wind break for it this first winter. If the fall is dry, water as needed to keep the soil slightly moist until it freezes. Enjoy your tree! |
