Juniper Similar to Juniper Tams - Knowledgebase Question

We have a hedge that we have been told is comprised of Juniperus c. Tams (Juniper Tams) shrubs. We want to plant another hedge of the same type of juniper, but have been looking without success for Juniper Tams to buy. What other Juniper chinensis cultivars would you recommend has having appearances similar to the Juniper Tams that also have similar growing characteristics and requirements?

Juniper Tam is Juniperus sabina 'Tamariscifolia'. There are both green and blue varieties and the needles are scale-like or awl-like. The growth habit is the same -it is a symmetrical mound shaped spreader. Monrovia sells Juniperus sabina var. tamariscifolia under the name Tamarix Juniper. You should be able to find this plant at one of the following local nurseries:
