I live in area 9 and we had early frost, so upper leaves are now crinkly, but still has inmature figs on it. My question is how to take proper care of for my area? Thank You |
Sometimes the season is long enough for fig trees to produce two crops, and sometimes they set two crops but the late crop doesn't have time to ripen before first frost. It's nothing to worry about and the process won't hurt your tree. Just leave the tree alone. It will drop its leaves and immature fruit soon and go into winter dormancy. Next spring it will wake up, develop new leaves and produce new fruit. Best wishes with your fig tree! |
