What will work? - Knowledgebase Question

I'm looking for annuals that will do well in part shade/ part sun during the winter and the drainage in not so good. I've worked in mulch and top soil to help it but its Alabama clay. If theres no Annual, i could use evergreen shrubs that flowers.

Those site specifications pretty much eliminate most options. You might get some good results with pansies, viola, and dusty miller if the drainage is not too bad. With the compost you worked in it may be okay for these plants. I think they are your best bet.
