|Are birds attracted to the berries, are they edible for birds? Also, how can I get the trees to produce more berries? The trees are about 10 feet tall and had been planted in 2002.|
Holly berries are often eaten by birds. The key to good berry production is good light exposure for the plant and having a pollinator variety somewhat nearby. While some holly plants may produce okay without a pollinator, with a good one nearby the berry production would be better.
Hope this helps!
