Can you tell me how to start additional plants from my dwarf arctic willow hedge? I've been trying cuttings for sevral years but they all turn black and die.

Willow cuttings should root easily from either soft or hardwood at just about any time of year without rooting hormone. Take your cuttings from healthy plants. If you are using pots, make sure you are using clean containers, and fresh, damp, soil-less potting mix. Always use clean tools. Provide a location with good air circulation and keep the soil damp until they are well rooted.
